This steadily expanding business recently won educational contracts in the Falmouth area and has increased the number of full-size coaches from 1 to 4, and will soon rise again to 5. Here the 3 additions sit alongside the existing member of the fleet, ready for the start of the new contracts the following day.

10 april 2014 - Rother Way, Rotherham. Ready to depart to its new hirer, this Optare Solo stand proud in front of brand new examples of the type. Some 10 years separate these vehicles, but the condition of KX04HPZ belies its years.

However, it is unusual for this many vehicles to go to just one customer but these are all destined for service in Malta, continuing many years tradition of UK produced vehicles running on the island.

10 march 2014 - OTS Depot, Lamanva. An early taste of summer sees the bright red paint of this British legend shine like new, though now far from the urban sprawl of London and living in much more rural parts. A much newer member of the fleet provides company.

Although similar to another photo I have posted the light here I really liked as it allowed the headlamps to be fully lit without creating too much glare. I wanted to take advantage of having full access to the depot before my employment ceased!

23 february 2014 - Stagecoach Bus Depot, Corn St, Witney. Puddles everywhere: this about sums up the UK recently, but this puddle has nothing to do with our nations long tradition of rain! Being near the bus wash, this part of the depot often gets wet and I think used to good effect in this shot.

The depot is confined to quite a small space, and manoeuvring buses in the dark and with wet mirrors after being through the wash potentially leads to damage, hence why this post is protected with old tires and provided a contrast to this photo as nightfall pulled its veil over town.
